For your consideration this week.

That camera operator should be fired. How could he or she not tell the interviewer what was visible on screen? I dislike Palin every bit as much as the next liberal elitist, but this is grossly unprofessional. I mean, how fucking hard would it be to ask her to quit waving that damn coffee cup around?

Okay, so apparently the photographer told her what was going on and she continued. Why in hell would she do that? Is it really possible that this woman just went through the same national campaign that I watched all summer and *still* has no idea that she needs to take an active role in managing her own image?

Yea, seriously, that was awful. Mostly because the dude killing the turkey's in the background keeps looking over and smiling, which is just plain awkward.

On another note ---

if you haven't already heard of it, check out FAILBLOG.org ... it will make you laugh and laugh and laugh and laugh.

I feel as though Sarah Palin should just stay in Alaska. I guess they're so hardcore up there they don't mind turkey-guts all over their politicians' sound bites. Criminy.

It angers me so when anyone complains about seeing where their food comes from. Grrrr!

Who's complaining about seeing where their food comes from? I see people amazed that a politician and former television sports reporter doesn't seem to understand that staging and framing can distract from her message.
